About
Sam Stringer is a fashion designer and photographer from Vancouver BC. Her couture collections have been featured at Tokyo Fashion Week and Vancouver Fashion Week, and her custom work has been seen on stage at the Juno Awards and worn by evening and bridal clientelle. Her pieces combine traditional mastery with modern aesthetic to create elaborate and luxurious evening gowns, which celebrate local talent in a fusion of art and fashion. Stringer also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion and Technology from the Wilson School of Design at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
Her photographic work is edgy and sincere, fueled by the creative people in her community, and has been featured in dozens of print and online publications, including British Vogue and Vanity Fair, Women's Wear Daily Japan, and Elle Mexico. She focuses on editorial and client work, based in BC, Canada.
